As Internet marketers and business people, we need to utilize every available tool that is out there to help us get traffic to our sites. I for one, get “lazy” and tell myself people will find me when they find me…it’s not worth going through the extra hassles of learning a new tool, blah, blah, blah!!

Those days are over. There’s fierce competition out there and you have to be on your game or you just might as well get out now.

There are teenagers to grandmas trying to get a stronghold in this market. Ask yourself are you gonna be outdone by a goofy pubescent teen? Heck no! Get in the game now or at least get in the ballpark!

If you don’t have a sitemap done….do one now! I just did mine after realizing how important it is, although it doesn’t affect your ranking, it still helps.

This wordpress plugin lets you automatically ping Google with every update to your site and thus the crawlers know that you recently updated your blog. A sitemap essentially makes it easy for search engine crawlers.

This guy named Michael Pick has a video tutorial on how to put up a Wordpress sitemap on your Wordpress blog.

If you don’t have a Wordpress blog…well, hopefully you’re working your way up to it.
