You can study Michael Fortin, Jay Abraham, Mike Dillard, Dan Kennedy, Cialdini, and Joe Schroeder, whose material I just adore.
In fact the following letter written in Joe Schroeder prose. Why do you think it’s successfully in pulling people in? Look at the sentences. Study the length of the paragraphs. Edited.

I just added this email to my series. You can probably see why. Here’s the response Tim Berger, a Joe Schroeder mentoree, had received when he mailed out the letter:
Yesterday, Joe Schroeder sent out a letter that he was
using as a follow up to his classified and postcard campaigns.
