Now that a lot of Internet marketers know the great traffic potential behind Squidoo, the question they are asking the most is: is it hard designing your own web page on Squidoo?
The answer is of course “no”, as long as you know what to do.
I ‘m a person that firmly believes that you have to learn how to do things the right way in order to get the most out of it. I don’t like to be spoon-fed information, unless it’s technical, like how to build a nuclear bomb or something like that, otherwise I like the information in front of me with easy access.
You might be the opposite and learn better by being given bits and pieces and then trying to put the pieces together. The good news is that free information abounds on the Internet. There are forums and groups that you can frequent that can give you a lot of information on how to use various marketing techniques, and even on designing your own web page on Squidoo.
I don’t like to learn in bits and pieces, which is why I buy products, like courses, ebooks and books that can teach me how to do various marketing methods. I can then break off the information into meaningful chunks that I can digest.
Well, after learning the high page rank Squidoo has and how much traffic it could bring to me, I decided that I wanted to know how to go about designing a web page on Squidoo.
I just didn’t want to know how to build any old Squidoo page, but how to build an effective one. If you’re gonnna do something, you might as well do it right or to the best of your ability or just don’t attempt it at all.
So the first information I bought into was Squidoo Secrets by Bob the Teacher. The free information was priceless. However, when I paid the $47 to upgrade, I was sorely disappointed in the information that was available at that level. I definitely learned more at the freebie level. Perhaps a total green newbie would benefit from the upgrades.
Needless to say, I really felt enough information had passed through my brain to make an effective squidoo lens or two. So I eventually did. They both turned out very well-or so I think.
One lens was ranked in the 25,000 range and the other was ranked in the 220,000 range. What a big difference. Knowing your keywords really help.
After making my lenses, I knew there was more I could be learning, but I did not want to upgrade to the highest membership level in Squidoo Secrets, which is over $90 bucks!
As fate would have it, a few days later while surfing the ‘net, I came across Dr. Ron Passfield’s lead capture page promoting…ta dah…an eBook on designing your own web page on Squidoo! Talk about timing. His book is called Squidoo Marketing Strategies and what made the coincidence even more sweeter was that it was only $7 bucks!
I had never heard of this guy, nor his book so I did a little research on the doctor to find out about him. Well, I found out that this guy really knows his stuff, and at worst if I didn’t like his eBook, I would’ve lost only $7 bucks.
In the beginning of the book, there was obviously some of the same stuff as in Squidoo Secrets, but the more I got towards the middle of the ebook, I picked up a lot of nice strategies and tips that was not in Squidoo Secrets-at the free level nor the $47 level!
I was really greatfull I bought this little treasure (actually this eBook is a hefty 44 pages long!). Not bad for an ebook that costs the same as a one topping pizza at a cheap pizza joint! If you want infomation on designing your own web page on Squidoo so you can get lots of free traffic, then you can’t go wrong with Squidoo Marketing Strategies.
