Facebook Marketing For Morons - The Re-Cap

Last nite’s training webinar was a big eye opener for me about not only Facebook, but social marketing in general. I’m no expert at this but luckily I train with those who are. We can’t know everything right? I sure as heck don’t pretend to.
I definitely know what not to do to turn off people. And so do you. But yet we all fall into old patterns of bad behavior <lol>.
We can all change, but the first step is always awareness.
And that was the focus of last nite’s training that was put on My Private Classroom.
Spamming people with your business opportunity or other programs is such a Big turn off. How many times have you had people, strangers you don’t even know spam you like this?
They don’t even address you or try to build a relationship. Yet this goes on all the time on these social sites because people just don’t know that they’re repelling people instead of attracting them.
In fact I had to remove a friend from my list because he was sending me and all his friends spam messages just about every other day. Such as:
“Join me I’ll make you rich”
“I’ll pay your way in, join today!”
I even sent him a private message and said something like this, tongue in cheek of course” it sucks being your friend all I get is spam, what gives dude?!”
Hmmm, he never responded with a reply. I wonder why?
But I did get an invitation to join his latest forum (you make your own “forums”) and the title was something like ” Make $5000 in XYZ, I’ll Even Pay Your Way In”
What a great forum name for discussion right?
Gosh!
I gave up on him at that point. All that effort he’s putting into the wrong activity could’ve easily been turned around into something that would’ve attracted people to him instead of doing the opposite.
Facebook and all the other social sites out there all require one thing to make it work for you as a marketer - and that’s building sincere relationships with people.
Luckily for all of us who are still coachable and trainable, we can still go out and learn how to use social marketing in better, more productive ways from this moment on.

In multi- level marketing, your profits will depend on the number of people you have recruited to join the program. Profits are generated through sales and referrals, so you have to get more people to know about your program. This is just the first ste…
