TwitterMail – The Sneaky Little Way to Tweet

Ok, I’m taking a look at a Twitter tool, called Twitter Mail.

After reading about it and trying to see if this was something that is actually useful to me or wasteful of my time…I decided the former because this tool does some really cool things.

What TwitterMail Can Do For You:

  • Post tweets via email – Some people aren’t allowed to…tweet at work, so this is one way of getting around it. You write your message from your email service, yahoo, gmail, whatever it may be – it really doesn’t matter. Once you sign up (yep, it’s free by the way), you’ll be given a secret TwitterMail address to send your tweets to. And it gets posted to your twitter account.
  • Send future Tweets – You can send future Tweets by putting in the number of hours/minutes you want the future posts to appear on your Twitter account.
  • Send a book – Yes, you read that right. You can post 140 characters to tell your story and TwitterMail put a ‘Read More’ link at the end where the reader will be re-directed to TwitterMail to read the remainder of the message

The beauty of this service is that when you’re going through your email, you can get ideas to tweet about and since you’re using TweetMail, all you have to do is compose a message right there on the spot without having to log into Twitter or another twitter application.
