Internet Marketing Online Courses -How to Find the Right One
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Since John Reese’s traffic course, has there been any in-depth Internet marketing online courses on this subject matter…an “how to” step-by step guide on how to get traffic to your website? I’m no expert, but I don’t think so.
However, there are a few that come close as I will list below. And by the way John Reese no longer sells his traffic course.
MEMBERSHIP SITES
There are Internet marketing online courses that are membership sites. This is where you pay a monthly fee to have access to the training material. The main two that come to mind are Wealthy Affiliate, and Nitty Gritty Marketing.
If you’re brand-spankin’ new to Internet marketing, then you’re going to be paying a lot of money before you even begin to understand any of it.
However, if you’re a fast-study, and are very industrious, then those kinds of membership sites can be very beneficial to you.
Knowing that you’re paying a monthly fee (some cost up to several hundred dollars per month!) to learn and apply Internet marketing, it may be an big enough motivator for you to stop procrastinating and get into action.
I have heard good things about Wealthy Affiliate, especially from bum marketer Travis Sago.
As a member of Nitty Gritty Marketing, I can tell you that it is very good as well and is very in-depth with its many audio and video lessons-almost too many! If you’re a beginner Internet marketer, then Nitty Gritty will serve you well only if you plan on building your own website (or having one designed for you).
Jermaine Griggs, the genius behind Nitty Gritty, likes to put the focus not so much on the traffic per se, but on getting the traffic to convert, and increasing the customer value. Both of which require you to be able to tinker with your website.
Although you can apply the marketing techniques that are taught in Nitty Gritty to network marketing (if you’re a network marketer), some of the info as stated before, is geared toward those who want to put up and optimize their websites and sales processes.
Which brings me to Stompernet. A hefty price tag (appx $800/mo), to do Internet marketing their way. But with the backing of some of the most well-established Internet marketers like Sherman Hu, Andy Jenkins, and Brad Fallon, you’re going to learn something. The question is, “is it worth $800?”….you be the judge.
Membership isn’t open all the time, so if you’re serious about Stompernet, then you’ll have to snatch a spot before they close it again.
LATEST GRAND INTERNET MARKETING ONLINE COURSES
The latest Internet marketing training (it’s been out a few months already) is Armand Morin’s Internet Marketing Explained course. Armand’s businesses have generated over 45 million dollars…whew! So, yeah, he kinda knows what he’s talking about.
Internet Marketing Explained is more geared toward affiliate marketers or those people who have their own products-from my standpoint. Armand’s businesses have generated over 45 million dollars, so he does know his stuff!
You have to ask yourself if you’re really ready to benefit from what he’s teaching. The worst thing in the Internet marketing world, is to spend a big chunk of money on a course or training and then NOT use or apply what you’ve learned.
Newbie Friendly Courses
I like courses that give you more than just an ebook as a training guide. We all learn in different ways, so its best to have courses that appeal to different kinds of learners (audio, visual etc). I myself like to see things demonstrated, not just talked about. I like to see videos.
There’s nothing worse than downloading an ebook that talks about something so complicated you can’t even follow along. I’m sure you have many worthless ebooks cluttering up space on your computer like I do.
Here are two courses that I have deemed “newbie” friendly if you fall into the description I laid out. The first one is Michael Andrews’ Profit Lance Automated Wealth Course. This course gives you the foundation you need to learn how to create an income on the Internet.
Although not geared toward network marketers, there are elements you can adapt into your network marketing business. I would suggest the second course if you’re a network marketer, called Michael Cheney’s Traffic Videos.
This particular course is strictly on how to get traffic to your websites using mainly web 2.0 techniques. With Michael Cheney you do get a bit of what I shall call…”Cheney” humor. It can be a little annoying at times, but it makes learning more pleasurable.
Cheney’s traffic videos are really geared to total green newbies. If you know anything at all about traffic and how to generate it, then this course won’t teach you anything new; it may however, shed a light on how to use the various web 2.0 sites out there to drive traffic to your site.
If you’re sick and tired trying to learn Internet marketing in pieces or if you can’t figure out the pieces, then it may be in your best benefit to”buckle down” and get a course to finally learn this stuff!
These Intenet marketing online courses will get you moving in the right direction in your home business-but you must take action and not be just a “knowledge gatherer!”
